 I wanted to thank you for hosting another event at Sunnydown this year. I have not had the pleasure of seeing you in previous years but I thought you were really interesting. You seem quite devoted to the subject of Raptors; most notably your delightful Owls!  

 

You display such commitment for the care and conservation of owls, together with pride and a genuine pleasure about being able to share your own birds with people who have a similar interest. I’m pleased that you manage to pitch it just right for our boys – they loved it!

 

It is great that you are able to share your passion and respect for wildlife with the boys and they now look upon you as someone who is an excellent resource of good quality, down to earth information and advice. You should be commended for your ability to present the birds to a wide spectrum of people, from young children to adults and from those with no knowledge, to those quite conversant.

 

You managed all this in an interesting, professional and friendly manner and the students very much look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful morning for the children at the nursery! What an opportunity for our nursery aged children to enjoy the range in sizes and species of all your owls at close hand. The children were totally entranced by having the opportunity to touch the owls and you have a great gift of presenting all the information about them to the children in a way that they can understand and which interest them. It is no mean feat to keep the attention of children aged 3 - 4 years for any lenghth of time but they were totally absorbed by your presentation and have been able to recall  a surprising amount of the information you gave them.

 

This is the fourth year running that we have enjoyed your visit and we look forward very much to seeing you again in 2011.

A big thank you yet again for a fabulous talk and display on Saturday. Our guests and residents loved every minute. Some residents I have never seen so animated and lucid before!! Thanks also for letting me look after Ojoe for so long he really is a darling character!

 

Richard has taken some really great photos but they are quite big in size so I will send them over to you but they will have to be individual as they are too big to send in a group on one e-mail.

Owls To You have attended Chessington World of Adventures over the last two years to assist us with our Chessington Conservation Fund awareness evenings.

 

Aaron’s interaction and the general friendly demeanour of his birds have been exceptional at grabbing the guest’s attention and offering a truly mesmerising and educational experience. His knowledge and expertise with the animals is clearly evident, and the ability for guests to handle these amazing birds has led to feedback that has been nothing but positive.  This company is a rare treat and one not to be forgotten. I certainly hope they will continue to support us in future events, as any without them would not feel the same!

Our Owl experience proved extremley popular this year, as something new and different for this half term. Families had a wonderful time learning about owls and thier natural habitats as well as getting up close and personal with these otherwise raely seen birds of prey.

Thanks Aaron for a brilliant visit for my mums 80th birthday. With severe rheumatoid in her hands many of her pleasures have had to be stopped but seeing her face light up as she got to touch and hold the owls was amazing and something she wont ever forget.  We asked for an informal session and it was exactly what we were after very relaxed, just the right amount of information and getting so close to the birds was wonderful and everyone there loved it and are still talking about it!

Many thanks for a wonderful evening on Tuesday despite Dorking traffic and weather! I have had quite a few emails from parents saying how much their girls enjoyed it and the girls in my class at school raved about it so the school have asked for your details too. I hope you get some more visits out of it.

I also hope you will still be owling in 3 years time as we run Brownies on a 3 year rota activity wise. I'll keep a hold of your details if that's ok and be in touch with you then.
